The Wayward Gamer

As gamers, we understand that good reviews are hard to come by these days, about as hard to come by as good games. We started this company hoping to change that, but we didn’t just stop there. We knew that the only way to get game companies to listen to real gamers, was to give those gamers a voice. So, The Wayward Gamer was born! We give detailed ratings, provide entertaining content and perhaps most importantly, give real gamers a voice for game designers to listen to.

History

The Wayward Gamer published its first Ezine in August of 2007 and had a short three month run. After running into funding problems and other economic issues, the decision was made to put the Ezine on hold.

It wasn’t until January of 2010 that The Wayward Gamer was finally able to put the peices back together, and now their back, and as of March 2010 will be publishing the Ezine once again! One of the original goals in 2008 was to allow readers a section, both in the Ezine and on waywardgamer.com, where they could post their own reviews of games. Now, in 2010 they have finally made it a reality and have launched The Saloon, an exclusive section meant just for the readers.
