Capcom is at it again! They’ve gone past the character mixing fighting games of X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Vs. Capcom and delved into the deep recesses of third person, mech shooters! Alright, so maybe that’s a pretty unique genre, but it’s happening nonetheless. It looks like Capcom is going to add skins for Marcus, Dom and Wesker (characters from Gears of War and Resident Evil) into Lost Planet 2.
I have to admit, at first I rolled
my eyes with fervor at this seemingly obvious ploy to get people to buy the sequel to a mediocre game, but when I saw the screen shots I had to admit that it looked pretty cool! For those gamers out there who liked Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions and Gears of War or Resident Evil, this will be a nice treat. No word yet on how you can acquire the skins, but lets hope it’s not only through pre-orders from different retailers. God knows I don’t want to have to pre-order this in three different places.
Lost Planet Releases on March 18,2010 for the Xbox 360.
